DIMENSION LINE CROSSES THRU NUMBER

I’m referencing the website below to show a video of the subject problem using the
latest SE version. Prolem: Sometimes when I select a dimension to drag it outside
like shown in the first part of the video, the dimension line runs across the actual
dimension number. How can I avoid this?

Ron,
What dimension style are you using?
Post an image of the 'Text' tab and the 'Lines and Coordinate' tab of the
dimension style properties.
It looks like something in the dimension style.
Or you can send a simple example file.

Rick B.

Ricky, I've made a video of the two screens you requested. Go to the following
site to see it. The dimension style I use is customized and referred to as WOODWORKING.

Also, you haven't answered my PROMPT BAR question of 3/18.
I also have to say that I've started using the new V102 every day for the last several
days without and hickups or crashes. It's been smooth. Blocks all work the way
they should. Good job.
Thanks,
Ron

Ricky, this is a followup entry to clarify. I've deleted the suspect dimensions.
I than redimensioned the exact same elements and they look correct and not like
I submitted. Maybe a quirk. Or should I send the file to be sure.

Ricky, here's some more info. Seems to be related to only those dimensions that
are auto added. The ones in question were set during an offset command.

Re: DIMENSION LINE CROSSES THRU NUMBER

Ron,
I'll look at the offset command dimension.
It looks like you have undocked the prompt bar.
Drag the header of the prompt bar toward the bottom of the screen.
You will see an arrow display toward the bottom center.
Drop the prompt bar on this arrow. It will dock it to the bottom.
