Decimal Places in Property Text

N/A

I've just been trying to limit the number of decimal place shown in a property text
call out.
It's given a brief explanation in the help file, but I can't get this working:
You can use property text to control the number of decimal places in numbers. For
example, to set a number to display 4 decimal places, use the following format:
%{PropertyName or CustomPropertyNumber/@4|ModelRef}

So I tried to control the number of decimal places in the variable as follows:
(Before)
LENGTH: %{arc_allowance}
(After)
LENGTH: %{arc_allowance/@1}
But this gives no difference to the text displayed.
Does anyone have any experiance in using this method of only displaying the required
decimal places (in this case I don't want any decimal places: integer values only).

Andy,
There is a current limitation with formatting custom properties in property
text. Custom properties are currently passed to Draft and therefore to
property text as string values not as a real values. Therefore, formatting
will not work because they are strings.

I've bypassed that through FILE>FILEPROPERTIES>UNITS>ADVANCEDUNITS
And nominated clone variables as Scalars which I can then control number of decimal
places with.
(pull down menus, .12 etc)
I think this thread is closed down, but there is another one along similar lines
I'm about to post (Updates of Property Text)
