FILL CHANGES WHEN GROUP ROTATED OR MIRRORED

Often when I rotate or mirror a group that has fills within fills, the fill limit
changes and I have to ungroup to redefine the fill limits back to what they should
be.
Why?
Thanks,

Ron,
This is not altogether surprising to me. When you place a fill, the fill is based
on a point that is selected within a region. After you place a fill, if you activate
your select tool and select the fill, you will see a black square somewhere in the
region indicating where you clicked to fill the region. As you rotate, depending
on the complexity of your geometry, this point can move to different areas within
the rotated elements.
Hope this helps.
