I'm assuming you are doing this in Solid Edge Draft since this is the 2D forum.

Draw the elements you want to pattern at the start point of where you want the pattern  Then on the Sketching tab in the Draw area, you can find the Rectangular and Circular Pattern commands.  Follow the prompts.

I would also suggest trying command finder at the bottomof your screen to help you find commands like this.

Hi

I have gone to the rectangular command bar, this is not in bold so can not open it up. Is there a reason for this

Thanks

Hi Stewart:

Can you post a picture of your Solid Edge screen to show what you see is not in bold ?

Hi there @Stewartc67,

Here is a short video of a rectangular pattern....hopefully the steps are clear.

You may notice, at the end, I right click on the pattern and select "ungroup", this is because by default, Solid Edge will automatically "group" the resulting pattern. [only necessary, if wanting to crop instances off, like I showed]
