Fills Won't Delete

N/A

I've created some custom fills that have the hatch pattern set to "None" and when
I select the fill and press the delete key on my keyboard the fills will not delete.
I can select them and use the "Cut" command and they delete or use the Solid Edge
built in "Delete" command and the fills delete but they will not delete with the
keyboard delete key. This only happens to the custom fills I created which are basically
solid colors with no hatch pattern so I don't have to set the "Pattern Color" when
I just want to place a solid color fill. The built in, as in non-custom, fills delete
fine with the keyboard. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ed

I have had similar experience. But I didn't test if there was a difference in behavior
between custom vs default. I blew it off as a quirk.

Ed,
I have tried this and have no problem. When you click on the fill that has
no hatch, the fill should still highlight.
When I press the 'Delete' key it deletes fine.
Can you send a simple test case that shows the problem?
Thanks,
Rick B.

Ricky and folks, I verified that I'm getting the same behavior as Ed. I've attached
simply file with 2 rectanlges, one with a mesh hatch/no fill and one ditto but with
a solid fill/no hatch. I can DELETE COMMAND the hatch example but have to use the
CUT COMMAND to delete the solid fill.

Rick,
Ronald's file shows that exact same problem I'm having. The problem is with custom
fills as his file shows.

Responding to my own post but I did some experimenting. Using Ronald's file, if I
go and add a pattern to the fill then I can delete the fill. I changed it back to
no pattern and was not able to delete the fill. Hope this helps narrow down the
problem.

Ed, Ron,
I went back and tested this on V100 (ST1) and could reproduce the problem. I
also tested on V102 (ST2), which will be released soon, and the problem has
been fixed.
I have been testing V102. That is why I could not initially reproduce the
problem.
Just to give you an Idea of moving forward, I am already working on V103.
And by the way, there is no V101. V100 is actually V101.
Regards,
Rick B.
