How to display a point in a ACAD drawing

I am trying to measure some dimensions on a ACAD drawing with a few "POINT"s as reference
features. My problem is that I can neither see those points nor find them. Appreciate
any suggestions to make those points visible!!!

David,
Are these points that you are placing new? Or are they points that came from
the AutoCAD file?
If you are placing them new, you can use the object thickness and color when
you place them to make them stand out.

David,
Do you know how the AutoCAD file was arranged (color, layer, etc.) to allow
them to be easily found?
