How to put polygon fence when using 2D model command?

N/A
Hi

I want to create a view of 2D model geometry but want to use polygon fence as there is some area I don't want it to show in my sheet. It seems like I can only place rectangular fence under this command. Help please, thanks.

At the time you create the 2D Model view this cannot be done.
The most common case is a rectangular drawing view.
So, we do this on initial creation of the 2D Model view.
However, you can modify the 2D Model view boundary agter initial creation.
Click on the 2D Model view.
There is a button in the modify command for "Modify Drawing View Boundsry".
Click on that button.
It will take you to the "Cropping Boundary Profile" environment.
The original rectangle will be displayed.
You can add additional geometry to form the cropping shape required.
Make sure the geometry forms a single closed loop.
Click on the 'Close Cropping Boundary' button when finished modifying the
shape.
