Importing Solid Works drawing files

Hey guys. We have some old SolidWorks drawing files to import but I don't know if it's possible? We have .slddrw diles and want to convert them to .dft files. Is there any way to do this? Either within Solid Edge or using external software?

There is a SolidWorks Data Migration utility in the Data Migration folder in the Start menu (under the Solid Edge Program).  This utility will convert your SW drawings into Solid Edge Draft files (and maintain the link to the 3D model).  In order to use this, however, you have to have access to SW.

If you just need the SW drawing file in SE format with no link back to the 3D model, you can convert the SW drawing to DXF/DWG and then open in SE.
