Layer propeties

N/A
Has anybody experience with the setting of the properties of a layer?
I get a empty form with name and value. I have no idea how to fill it.
I can not find any examples in the help files.

Layer properties are internal properties you can set. In fact, most objects have the same ability to set properties on them. They are not useful for anything "out of the box"...

Thanks, can you give me an example how to fill the from.
For example: I like to change the line color to red on an layer, what is the property name
line or line color and what is the value.
I tried several inputs, but nothing works.

2D Drafting layers do not have the AutoCAD type of geometry overrides such as color and line type. They do have show/hide capability.

I had been wondering the same thing about layer colours.

I tested the capabilities of SE 2D by importing and then saving a simple DWG. SE 2D stripped out all the layer and colour information on exporting, which I thought was particularly poor.

It's a real shame, because this alone makes it unsuitable as an AutoCAD replacement. Users of other software wouldn't be happy if their DWGs were mangled.
