License file not working


Hi there,
I've downloaded and installed Solid Edge 2D drafting and the program will not start
saying that it could not contact the license server and that it could not find a
valid license file.
I know that the license file is automatically installed but when that didn't work
I manually downloaded the license file and put it in the 'program' folder. It still
doesn't work.
Solid Edge viewer does work (not that that's helpful). I don't have any other Solid
Edge software on my PC.
Please Advise.

Rieuk,
I have a few questions.
Can you provide an image of the error dialog you are seeing. There are
different errors that may be presented.
What operating system are you using (XP, Vista Professional)?
Are you trying to run remotely?

Hey Rick, thanks for replying.
I've attached an image of the error dialog. I am using Windows 7 operating system.

Not sure what you mean by running remotely but I doubt it - I just downloaded the
program and installed it on my PC on which I intend to use it.
