Macro from full SE2d on Free SE2d?

Can a macro recorded (or written for) SE2d maintained version be run on a SE2D free
(no maintained license) version?
I know there's a facility in SE2d free for playing a macro, in the form of a EXE
or DLL(?) file, but I've no macros to try it with.

Re: Macro from full SE2d on Free SE2d?

It will not work as the API layer needed to interact with Free 2D is not
included.

What is the "Macro" option in the Applications menu?
Applications>Macro>run Macro
Surely this infers some form of automation ability?

Re: Macro from full SE2d on Free SE2d?

That is there to invoke a macro, but if it needs to interact with SE Free 2D
in any way (which is what you would typically want), it will not work.
Probably left in the product as an oversight.
