If you have problems installing Solid Edge 2D Drafting on Windows 8 or on Windows 10, it may be as a result of .NET Framework 3.5 not installing properly by the installation process. This is a Microfoft component that is required by Solid Edge 2D Drafting.
On Windows 8 and Windows 10 machines, you should manually install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 prior to starting the Solid Edge ST8 install. To install .NET 3.5, in Control Panel, open “Programs and Features”, select “Turn Windows features on or off”, then on the “Windows Features” dialog select “.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)” and OK to install.
When installing "Solid-edge 107 SE_Free_2D_SPANISH_ST7" installer asks for framework 3.5.
The problem is that we are not able to install framework 3.5, installer do nothing.
Are you saying that the Installer for Solid Edge does nothing? Or that trying to install the .NET framework separately does nothing?
