Program free2D won't run after install.

After installing and following the directions regarding SELicense.txt that I received
via email, the following message appears when trying to run the program ---- a connection
to the license file server sould not be established. Contact your system administrator
to resolve the connection to the server.
Cannot find license file.

Hi,
Rename the extension of your license file to dat (selicense.dat instead of selicense.txt).
Place that license file in C:\Program Files\Solid Edge...\Program.

I have also exactly the same problem with the license file. Did the change to .dat
file, but no effect.
Deleted the program and install a new one...got a new license.txt wich I change
to .dat, but with the same result.
Hope for a help here before I remove the program for ever.
Thanks from Knut A

Sometimes the license file can be garbled after it is sent from UGS by some
mail systems. Open the license file with Notepad and it should look like
the sample below with the exception of where I have X's, you will have a
string of letters/numbers.
INCREMENT solidedge2ddrafting sedemon 19.0 30-sep-2007 uncounted \
XXXXXXXXXXXX HOSTID=DEMO
Also make sure that you aren't hiding the extension on the file, and when
you renamed it, it now is "selicense.dat.txt".

I do not have "\Program" in my SE 2d Drafting V19. Only "\install". Where do I find
"\Program" so I can put the selicense.dat there?

Re: Program free2D won't run after install.

Andy,
The executable that you download is not the installed software. It is an
installation executable that contains the software. Running the download
executable will install the software. If you are seeing a folder named
"\install", you are looking at the temporary folder that the download
executable is unzipped to for installation. This is not the installed
software, it is only a temporary location for installation. I assume you
followed the installation procedure when you ran the executable. If you did,
the software will be installed to c:\program files\solid edge 2d drafting
v19. There will be a folder there named "\program". This is where you drop
the license file. To run the software, clisk on Start-All Programs-Solid
Edge 2D Drafting V19-Solid Edge 2D Drafting.
