Re-size crop area

Ricky,
I have drawn a house plan in ST3. Some elements of the geometry have to be
rotated or, transposed (mirror image) after being placed on a worksheet.
After this rotation/transposition I seem unable to resize the 'box
containing crop area', to make it exactly fit the area of the Worksheet.
Can the box containing rotated geometry be re-sized?

Many thanks,
Roger

Re: Re-size crop area

Roger,
I assume you are talking about a 2D Model view placed on a working sheet.
I tested and can reproduce this.
Here is a workaround.
When you click on the 2D Model view you will see the Modify Tool Bar for the
2D Model view.
Toward the right end of this tool bar is a button for "Modify Drawing View
Boundary".
Click on this button.
This will display the geometry of the boundary and will allow you to change
it.
It will be displayed in the not rotated state.
By the way did you know that you can create boundaries of irregular shape?
This is where you do it.

Rick B.

Re: Re-size crop area

Ricky,
What a service!
Yes I was talking about a 2D model view. I will try your work around
tomorrow.
Many thanks
Roger.

Re: Re-size crop area

Ricky,
Sorry but I need a bit more guidance.
a) I cannot find the Modify Tool Bar either, in the 2D Model view or, in a
Worksheet/Tables Tab/2D model. So I fall at the first hurdle!
Can you guide me further please?
(PS I have the Command User Interface set to Vertical Docking Form. ST3
version 103.00.00.114)
Sincere thanks,
Roger

Re: Re-size crop area

Roger,
When you click on the 2D Model view on the working sheet,
there will be a button in the vertical modify command for the 2D Model view.
It will be toward the bottom. It will be 'Modify Drawing View Boundary'.
If needed, I'll set my UI to vertical and send an image.

Re: Re-size crop area

Ricky,
Many thanks, it worked perfectly - there are so many hidden gems in this
software.
