Hi Guys.

I am looking at suggesting using revision triangles to easily identify changes.

I cannot find where they are on the ribbon or even on search.

Any help is greatly received.

Hi @Dazzie

You either will find the Dimension Tracker under the Tools tab, but I suppose this only will work with a 3D document behind but not in2D only mode

or You put those triangles Yourself onto the draft using the Balloon function under the Home tab

In this case take care that You have tunred off any leader line - suppose You will not have them

Hi Phenom.

Thank you.

How will these work with manually inserted text?  I assume I may have to insert one manually

Hi @Dazzie

Yes, You have to put Your number manually into the balloon text where it is done autmatically by the Dimensions Tracker function.

But this Dimension Tracker only can track dimensions coming from a 3D file

Hi.

Had a look at the dimension tracker and its not what I am looking for.

All I need is, when I rev up to a new revision I want that revision only to show where the changes are.

I think I will have to look into creating a block to do this for me.  Help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Dazzie

so in that case it might be the easiest way to use the ballon feature for creating triangle balloons to show wheer Your revisions are.
