Still get window stating I need a License

N/A

I recieved SELicense.txt file. Changed to SELicense.dat. SELicense.dat is in Program
folder under Solid Edge 2D Drafting V19 folder. I still get need license
window when I try to open Solid Edge 2D program. Would like some suggestions
as to why program is not opening. Thanks - Vaughn

Just to double check here. You put the license file here?
C:\Program Files\Solid Edge 2D Drafting V19\Program\SElicense.dat
It should have pestered you about there already being one there.

That is where I have placed mine...I am getting the same error and wondering if the
license file was corrupt in the email. I've followed the instructions to a T and
even tried while logged in as a local administrator, domain admin, power user, etc
with no avail.
Specifically it says:
Cannot find license file
The license files (or license server system network addresses) attempted are listed
below. Use LM_LICENSE_FILE to use a different license file, or contact your software
provider for a license file.
Feature: server_id
Filename:
License path:
FLEXnetLicensing error: -1,359. System Error: 2 "No such file or directory"
For further informatino, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing End User Guide, available
at "www.macrovision.com".

I can't find this file at that site.

Followup...putting the file in the right directory got rid of that error...now it's
error -2,413 "Invalid license file syntax"
