Text box + property text

N/A
Hello

(1)
How can i relate the bordes of a text box to the surrounding geometry (collinear, distance)?

(2)
How can i use property text in text boxes (for getting it exactly placed)? Even if i copy the text from the property text dialog into the text box, it doesn't get processed.

or

(3)
How can i define the geometry of some property text (horizontal/vertical alignment, max width or max hight, postion relative to geometry...)? The only way i found out is to use the property text as a leader note

Background:
Using it i.e. for plates or embossed text at the parts.

Edit (2011-02-25 07:25 UTC):
-------------
Even while playing around with block labels, these cant be defined via relationship handles and dimensions.

And there seems to be an alignment bug with property text:
If the string length of the value is shorter then the string length of the syntax code, any right or center alignment will fail because the text box of the syntax code is taken into account

e.g.:
Syntax code: Blatt %{Sheet number} / %{Number of Sheets}: Test
Value: Blatt 1 / 1: Test
-------------

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Robert

Text boxes cannot be positionally constrained to other geometry.

Property text cannot be accessed through text box. Use a callout without a
leader instead.

This is correct. You must use a callout.

But...

The only tweaks in the dialog are angle and font-size/font-style.

If there are no such possibilities, i'd start a feature request:
- allow property text in text boxes
- make text boxes constrainable

Have you read my edit (I'm sorry if it sounds impatient)? Maybe you got no notification for it.

Thank you!

Robert
