Using Measurement tool in Detail view.

N/A

Hello,
I created part in model sheet. Then created scaled detail view onto sheet1 and using
my custom background A Sheet. If I dimension drawing I get correct scale. It shows
what it is in the model view. But if I use the measurent tool I get the scale dimension.
Is this correct? Or should i always go to model sheet to measure?
thanks in advance

If using Measure you need to go to the model sheet. Another method commonly
used is to start a dimension but never place the dimension. You can read
the value of the dimension in the ribbon bar then RMB to exit the dimension
command instead of LMB to place the dimension.
