V100 DOCKING WINDOW QUESTIONS

First let me say that I generally like the new version. However, I'm having some
difficulty with all the alternative ways to manage the docking windows. Here's
a few questions:
1. At one point, I had the command (e.g., draw a line) window on auto hide and located
as a narrow vertical bar on the left side with the command name on it. When unhid,
it would slide out horizontally. It was separate from the Library Window that was
a drop down. After playing with various combinations, I decided that I like the
way I had the command windows described above. But I can't get back to that arrangement.
How?
2. I like the font size option for the Prompt Bar and use a reduced font to keep
the bar small. However, I have to change the font back to my preference each time
I open the application. How do I make the preferred font size stick?
Thanks,
Ron

Re: V100 DOCKING WINDOW QUESTIONS

Ron,
1. You should be able to turn them back on using the drop menu on any
docking pane title bars. It looks like a little drop arrow on the a docking
pane title bar.

Or, You can go to the 'View' tab at the top and then look in the 'Show'
group. Click on the command button called 'Panes'. Check the ones you want
to see. They may be in a pinned state that has them hidden. If you click on
the window in the list titles 'Line' (in this case), you should see the
window come back. You can unpin it then.

2. This is a current bug. The font overrides are not remembered. It will be
fixed in the next release.
