Velocity Series 2d license update doesn't work AGAIN!

My 2d drafting file asked me to download a new license today but the license in file
I downloaded (attached) doesn't work. I have trouble with this every year. My company
has a license for Solid Edge 3d but I just use the 2d license to make minor changes
to the .dft files for manuals.
I called the support number in the email that is in the email that is sent after
downloading the license and they were no help. The basic attitude was it's free
that's too bad.
So I called our reseller at swooshtec and they were also unable to get any help.
How hard is it to get a proper license file online?

I might add that I have been trying to redownload the 2d install file and it has
been downloading at a rate of less than 20KB/sec. It looks like it is going to take
5 hours or so. I've tried downloading from work and home with similar results.

John,
Open the selicense.dat file that is in the zip file that you got for the
license update.
Copy the content of the license and paste it into an email and send it to
me.
We have been experiencing problems with the download server. That is why the
download speed is not good.
Our IT guys are working on the problem.

You are right about the download server !! :-)) .
I am currently downloading the software and it will take 25+ hours!! :-((.
