inches when open unitless DXF or DWG files

I am enjoying 2D SolidEdge V19 for quite a while.
Some time ago I started to experience this never existed problem before:
When I open any existing .dxf or .dwg the units of measure are
set to inches. I can change the units to .mm however it changes the scale /
blow-up dimensions in mm.
When I start a new .dft file - the units are mm.
Please help!
Oleg

Hi there Oleg
Mate I had the same problem last week.
If you open the applications menu
click open
in the open dialog navigate to the specific dxf file
single click to select it
in the file types drop down menu click dxf
in the left hand bottom corner of the dialog there is an options button
click that
click next
and you will see a drop down menu called units
change this to mm
and follow the prompts to the end
I had to save the new config file to a seperate directory. This done it all works fine now.
Just remember to change the units to mm in the file properties under the applications menu.
