noob question

I went through the drafting tutorial a couple of times.
Pretty slick. I am very impressed w/ SE.
However I seem to have done something to cause the Rectangle tool to be unavailable.
It is faded out. I've tried everything I can think of, but I can't get the tool
back. Suggestions? I'm open to any thoughts.

Al,
Make sure you are looking at the Rectangle command button on the toolbar, not the
Rectangular Pattern command. The Rectangle command is under the Circle command on
the toolbar and the Rectangular Pattern is under the Offset command.

Re: noob question

Thanks for the response. I am looking at the rectangle tool in the vertical tool
bar down the left side of the drawing area. (under circle command). It's faded out
and I can't select it. This shows up when I open a new drawing. Not sure what I
might have changed, but it makes me think I've changed something to cause this.
No clue what it might be.
I have V19 installed at work, and it works fine. Work system seems quite happy running
SE. My home office system is the one with the problem. System is AMD 3200+, 2GB
RAM, ATI 7600GT video, XP Pro w/ all patches installed. I'm at a loss to explain.
I'll post more info tonight from home. maybe the light will click on......

Re: noob question

Ok, I went home and actually LOOKED at it instead of "remembering".
You were exactly correct. I was looking at the Rectangular Pattern command.
I told you it was a noob question. Doohh! Thanks for setting me straight.
BTW, this is a very good package!
