selecting and editing a rectangle

Hi again. I have drawn a rectange. The help file says I can edit it using the ribbon
bar. If I have selected away from the rectangle, when I reselect it with the arrow
tool, the whole rectangle is illuminated, but the ribbon bar only shows one dimension
for a line, not the rectangle ribbon bar. Is it possible to reselect the rectangle
and have the ribbon bar show its current length and width?

Re: selecting and editing a rectangle

Bob,
There is no rectangle object. Help is discussing the ribbon bar during
placement. The rectangle command will create four lines that define the
shape of the rectangle. If you have Maintain Relationships turned on, the
lines will be endpoint connected. They will also have horizontal/vertical
constraints or perpendicular constraints added to maintain the rectangular
shape. To control the length and width, simply click on one of the lines and
change the length. You can also place dimensions on two of the lines to
control width and height.
