Not certain what the issue could be, but if you installed SE to the default location, the file c:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST5\Program\selicense.dat may be 'read only'. You need to make this file 'writeable' if it is not.
I have the same problem...I try to activate my 45 day trial version but there's allwas an error during the activation. The status bar just starts then the error window pops up. I'm loggeg in as admin & firewall is off. Could somebody help me please?
Gentlemen, what I have been able to find out is this: If you have used the registration code once to register Solid Edge on a machine, you cannot use it again, even if it is for the same machine. You will need to re-register to get a new code.
I have an activation code, and I would like to use the ST5 version. I got the code yesterday, but when I tried to activate I got an error message. According to the message my subscription has expired. What is wrong?
