Good News! The contest has been extended. You can send in your entries until midnight August 4th.
I've rendered this in several different settings, so I can attest that this is a fun model to render. Find a background image on the internet, save it locally, drag it to your library, then use it as the background image for your rendering. It's that easy.
Flame decals can be applied as part of the material.
Several people have changed parts, or lowered the body, removed the roof. Make it a custom job. Use the Solid Edge interface colors (ok, that one was just for Bob Mileti's benefit). White walls, raised lettering on the tires, wood panels. Put a manakin behind the wheel. Tire spin.
Rendering is fun, and makes your products look good. It's a great skill to have, and it doesn't have to take a long time. In a lunch hour, you can probably set up 3 or 4 different renderings.
