This year Solid Edge returns to IMTS with great new manufacturing solutions and cutting-edge technology to share with you! We’ll be joined by our friends from NX Manufacturing in the Siemens booth where you can learn more about the road to digitalization. As one of the largest industrial trade shows of the year with more than 2,400 companies attending, this event is sure to be one you won’t want to miss!
The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2018 takes place September 10-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. If you are attending the event, we welcome you to stop by our booth #134502/134500, located in the East Building on level three. There you will learn how digitalization can lead to better parts, which in turn allow you to be more competitive in business.
There is something for everyone at the Siemens booth, whether you are a machine tool builder, operator, or a supervisor. The Digital Machine Shop track shows how digitalize end-to-end part manufacturing from the 3D model to the finished part, making improved products and increased productivity a reality. Digitalization for the Machine Tool Builder explores the newest CNC innovations for milling and turning applications, additive manufacturing, robotics and even virtual commissioning.
Solid Edge will present three stage shows that will cover the complete product portfolio, including design and simulation, as well as getting into the details of Solid Edge CAM Pro. (Look for a blog next week from Jim Wright for the scoop on that).
Solid Edge CAD, CAM and Beyond
This presentation will cover the complete Solid Edge portfolio. You’ll see the end-to-end process of designing, structurally testing, and then manufacturing a product in Solid Edge.
Synchronous Technology: Engineering Super Power
This show highlights the value of Solid Edge with Synchronous Technology for CAD design in a CAM world. Fast design changes and short lead times are no problem with this great CAD-for-CAM tool.
Solid Edge CAM Pro – Full CAM Power AND Great Ease-of-Use
You will see how to easily reuse existing NC Programs for similar new work, because really, who likes doing the same thing over and over?
If you’d like to learn more about these topics including Solid Edge CAM Pro, come talk to the Solid Edge team and Siemens at IMTS 2018. We look forward to seeing you there! And if you can’t make the event in Chicago, don’t fret. We’ll be posting more news and updates in the blog over the coming weeks!
