RE: About SolidEdge CommandID!

Solid Edge Spy has an "Event Spy" option. There you can watch the AfterCommandRun event.

thanks Jason.

I use the "Event SPY" look for some CommandID, but some couldn't find.

For example: inspect--MV--Physical properties--Update.

RE: About SolidEdge CommandID!

Hi fatkids,

the event AfterCommandRun is avaliable only for the popup "Physical properties" and not for Button "Update". I think, the CommandIds are not for all functions avaliable.

RE: About SolidEdge CommandID!

You are trying to invoke an event on a dialog box. That is not a command in and of itself that you can get to using StartCommand. But here's a trick for obtaining actual command IDs. you can invoke that way:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version xxx\ToolbarSettings\TooltipCmdId - add this as a DWORD and set its value to 1 (non-zero should do).

Edge will add the command ID to the tooltip it shows when you are over a toobar button or menu (Pre-ST) or over an entry on the command ribbon (ST).
