I am an addin virgin. I have done lots of Solid Edge automation programming in vb6, but no addins or .net automation. I attended your customization class at the Summit, and used alot of the Insight programming. I now need to start creating addins, and I am considering changing to C# also. My thought is while I am switching from vb6 to .net, why not go a little bit further and switch to C#. Does that make sense?
I haved installed your templates and reviewed the ppt from the Summit. I feel really stupid, but I can't figure out how to control Solid Edge. I am trying to check the value of a custom property at BeforeDocumentClose. In my VB6 programs I use EdgeDoc.Properties("Custom").Item("Handed").Value. I tried to use theDocument, but can't get it to work. I feel really dumb because this is really basic, but I don't know where to start. Do you have any code samples of C# addins that I look at for help?
