Displaying and showing background tabs

Hi all

How do you hide the background sheet tabs without using    Objse.StartCommand (10211)

'Set BackSheetsUpdateFile = ObjdraftUpdateFile.Sections.BackgroundSection.Sheets'   shows the background ..... but how do you hide them again?

Had a hunt and found the command

Objse.ActiveDocument.SheetWindow.DisplayBackgroundSheetTabs = False       doesn't seem to work     Err msg object doesn't support or method

any ideas?

Oh while i remember

        ObjdraftTemplate.SelectSet.AddAll   'select all infomation on sheet

        ObjdraftTemplate.SelectSet.Copy     ' Copy to Clipboard

Is there a way to copy to clipboard without having the sheet in the active window. because the AddAll command works no matter weather the sheet is active or not and when you fire the Copy command and the sheet isn't active the clipboard get nothing?

Cheers Snow

RE: Displaying and showing background tabs

This does work for me in VB6 to not show the Background Sheet tabs:

'If Background Sheets are visible, turn off

If objApp.ActiveWindow.DisplayBackgroundSheetTabs = True Then

objApp.ActiveWindow.DisplayBackgroundSheetTabs = False

End If
