Drafting: How to set "Autoscale" when adding a view

HI,

when adding a view to a drawing, you must specify a Scale value.

But I have a list of files (assemblies and parts) with different dimensions.

I must create a drawing for every object (A3 format for axample).

But I need to set the scale of the view in a way that I'm sure the view fit inside the papersize.

IThere is a way to do this with API?

Something like "Autoscale" the Model to "fit" inside the view boundaries?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Best Regards

Massimo

You can place the view with default scale, and then adjust the view scale by your sheet size.

For example, you can get all view's range, and then, you will get the area of each view. You know the sheet area, so, you can caculate the view scale.
