Edgebar Addin

Hi all,

I make a custom property editor, by implementing a UITypeEditor in VB.NET, it works fine in a sample application (see image), but in a EdgeBar Control Addin in Solidedge, the property appears as readonly... the custom editor is a custom control class created on the project (SolidEdge EdgeBar Addin)

I found some documents that say that the property, cannot see the custom editor, but where I can put this to work?

Who can help me?

Aldo.

RE: Edgebar Addin

Aldo,

I've used the standard .NET Property Grid in an addin created from my templates and it worked fine. If you'd be willing to post your addin code I'd be willing to take a look at it.

RE: Edgebar Addin

Aldo,

See the following fix:

#Region "Classe BrowseDb"

' Modified by Jason Newell

'

'Editor(GetType(BrowseDbEditor), GetType(UITypeEditor))> _

Editor("SEAddin1.BrowseDbEditor", GetType(UITypeEditor))> _

Public Class BrowseDb

I would also recommend that you add:

to all of your public classes. If you do not, they will get assigned a COM GUID and create clutter in the registry. Since we set the project to register for COM Interop, the default is ComVisible(True) for all public classes.
