How to convert unit?

[ Edited ]

Hi

Using ComputePhysicalProperties, I can get the mass of my model in "database" unit.  How do I use UnitsOfMeasure.FormatUnit to convert this value to a known unit?

Thanks

Oh! I don't need to use FormatUnit, I just need to know what is the database unit for the mass. (e.g. how to convert it to lbs to kg).

I found it! The mass must be multiplied by 1190 to obtain kg. I have absolutly no idea what is this value. I found it by trial and errors. To obtain a value in pounds, the value must be multiplied by 2623.45734.

Pascal,

I don't think you are right.

AFAIK internal units for Mass are Kg.

Distance units are Meters

Angle units are Radians

Area: m2

Volume: m3

Density: Kg/m3

Maybe you didn't update the solid or you made a mistake calculating the mass.

Hope this helps...
