Hi.

I am writing installer and before add-in installation i want to know if the Solid Edge ST4 installed. For this i want to check registry for SE key, thats creates when Solid Edge installed. Does anybody know what key i need to search in registry? Or where i can find information about this?

I found this keySmiley Frustratedoftware\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{3F084E0E-E7D3-439D-9AC3-8312B2184347}

But i don't know is it right key for my need? and is this key for x64 and x86 systems?

Walker,

you may use the WMI API to list and search for installed software. Some information and examples are provided http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee156540.aspx]here.

This can easily be resolved by using the Solid Edge Install Data Library (SEInstallData.dll).
