When I create a draft from a part / assebly I want to copy their properties.

Who can tell me how to retrieve, from a draft, the part / assembly properties with a .NET program ?

I read the ".Net Programmer's Guide" and now I know how to copy the part or assembly properties into the relative drawing with a macro.

Now I'd like to execute the macro automatically when I create the drawing from the part / assembly.

Maybe I need an Addin ?!?

you can read the part/assy properties directly into the drawing textboxes. So you don't have to copy them to the draft properties. We use this methode in our draft templates and works fine. This way you store the properties in only 1 place, the part/assy file properties, and you don't need any code.

First make a "callout" in your draf document.

Then click "property text" in the bottom left

Select the link you want to use.

For example: "%{File Name|R1}"      (This gives you the filename of the first modellink of the drawing)
