Is there an event: after selecting parts and asms?

Anyone knows a solution / workaround for what I wanne do?

If the user clicks a part or asm in pathfinder or view within the opened assembly,

I'd like to have an event fired up to get the filename(OccurrenceDocument or something).

May it be in addin or form outeside..

I tried the command with mouse/filter from outside, it works nearly good, Smiley Wink

the event is fired up, i can get the selected object(OccurrenceDocument),

but I can only select parts and only in the view ... Smiley Frustrated

any other clue to this?

Try with SelectSetChanged event in DocumentEvents.

Unfortunately at this time the mouse object doesn't work with the pathfinder. So locating in the view is your only choice. JR has the best answer if you don't need your own command.
