Has anyone tried to automate Solid Edge using .NET Core or .NET Standard?

Thanks,

Last time I checked, .NET Core does not support COM interop.

Hi Terry,

I've got no experience yet on my own, but I found following discussions and articles worth to be mentioned upon your question.

com interop with .net core 2.0

.NET core 3.0

I conclude it's currently better to stay with full .NET framework.

Kind regards,

Thanks to everyone for the replys. Looks like it's still Framework for a while.

The consensus now across all .net developers is that Core is great if you have a new project, but not great for existing projects.  In this case, the Solid Edge .net api is an existing project and so it's best not to migrate.  Eventually Core will have most of the stuff in .net so it will be easier to move forward, but that's not yet here.
