Range + 6.35 mm

I noticed this and hence want to confirm if it's true that the Range method returns 6.35 mm added to the actual coordinates:

Here's a DrawingView of a 100 mm x 100 mm cube placed at the origin with its cropping box:

The Range method on this DrawingView returns 100 + 6.35 mm

I want to know why it doesn't return just 100 x 100 or how can the setting be changed in SE so that the cropping border fits tightly to the actual extents of the DrawingView and the Range method returns the exact values.

Another example:

Any insight is highly appreciated:

Re: Range + 6.35 mm

I suspect it would cause problems with processing lines that lay along the view border - as the edges of your cube would be.

Are they inside or outside the border?

Someone has decided that 6.35mm (1/4") is a reasonable amount.
