I'm trying to use the SEPartX.ocx ActiveX control in IE.
I make an ajax request to the server to obtain the following HTML which is then dumped into a place holding 'div':
<object id="SEpartX" classid="CLSID:E03935A5-FBAD-11D0-8AC7-0800362FB302">
<param name="PartFile" value="\\servername\sharedfolder\item.par" >
IE then promptly crashes with the error log:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: IEXPLORE.EXE

Does anyone have any documentation on how to use the SEPartX.ocx control in a web environment?
What other "PARAMS" are available?
I need to dynamically update the path to the part file to display without crashing IE.
Any help or nudges in the right direction would be appreciated.

FYI, this works if I declare the html statically, it only fails if I try to load the HTML dynamically.
I created a JSFiddle to demonstrate the issue here:
(Open with IE)
if you specify a valid path to a local part file in the "PartFile" PARAM, you should be able to recreate the issue by pressing 'Run' at the top of the screen.
