ST3 - Handling Save button

[ Edited ]

Hi All,

I'm trying (or better - I'm looking for a solution now ) to handle "Save" button in SolidEdge ST3.

Every time, when user clicks a "Save" button I want to run a small macro, but i don't know how to handle a save action.

I will be very grateful for any hint!

Small Update: what can I do is a small FileWatcher, which runs a default action, when modification date of my file will be changed (as save signal). But - I won't to do it with an external tool, then a direct integration with SE seems to be an ideal solution.

Regards,

Piotr

The only solution that I know of with this level of integration is to write a custom addin.

Hmmm... I found something like:

Public Overridable Event AfterDocumentSave As DISEApplicationEvents_AfterDocumentSaveEventHandler

with summary: "This event occurs when a specified document is saved."

It could be helpful.
