How do I learn to write macros for SE?

Currently i would like a Rev cloud Macro and can not seem to find one. I have no training on writing macros but i have messed around with them and took a class on Lisp writing about 13 years ago. So where do i start? is there a macro out there where i can look at it an try to make it work for my rev cloud?

Thanks for the input

Look in Solid Edge help for the Solid Edge Programmers Guide - that's where I started, doing things like displaying and changing file properties.

You will also need to learn vb.net, but you can (if you are careful !!) do that to a great extent as you go along.

Generally you can find a lot of vb.net code and help in the internet.

If you have VS 2010 you can go to file/new project and then click the "on line templates" button on the left of the dialog. Then on the upper right of the dialog you will see a search button. Key in "solid" and wait a second or two.

You should see three templates show up. One of them is a macro template. That can get your started.
