Screen updating bug?

Hi all,

The add-in I'm working on contains the se.screenupdating=false and se.screenupdating=true statements but often seems to not start updating the screen again. This applies for parts, assemblies and drafts, but only for the active document, other open documents stay working (updating).

I've made sure that se.screenupdating=true is called.

Also, it's only triggered "off" and "on" once.

In between, assembly occurrences, reference planes and PMI dimensions are made hidden.

It's not failing all the time, but it seems like a 50/50 chance the screen wont update again after running the code.

This also happens on other workstations (with other hardware), so does not seem to be graphics driver related.

I'm using ST9 MP12

Does anyone have any experience with this and perhaps a solution?

I really need this to speed up things, so not using this is no option.

Screen updating was not the problem.

Code sometimes hangs in between and does not call screenupdating=true anymore.

This did not appear while debugging and I was not aware that SE does not throw errors when add-ins run into errors when not debugging in visual studio.
