Select entities on drawing view

Hello All

I'm trying to develop a code in which user will select some circles on the drawing view and dimensions have to be added to the selected circles. The problem I'm facing is that I'm not able to select independent entities on the view. Whenever I try to select, entire drawing view is getting selected. Please suggest me a suitable solution for this issue.

Thank you

Re: Select entities on drawing view

When you start your command and handle the mouse events, make sure that you use the following two locate filters:

* SolidEdgeConstants.seLocateFilterConstants.seLocateDVCircle2d

* SolidEdgeConstants.seLocateFilterConstants.seLocateCircle2d

These will give you access to any circle derived from your model and any circle directly drawn in the view.

Thank you Martin for your support. Can you just post a sample code to select circles on a drawing view using solid edge API

Re: Select entities on drawing view

You may have a look at the Solid Edge Community Samples on GitHub on how to do mouse handling. I have adopted a sample to select only circles in a draft document and attached the project.

Hope it helps.
