I am trying to use the Structured Storage API to write custom properties to a PDF. So far I have managed to either create the custom props tab and destroy my pdf or get a handle on the existing propset and write to the SummaryInformation, but could not create the custom props
I have attached my code file so you can see what I've tried so far - any ideas??

I figured it out . PDF's are non-compound files - that's why the file was corrupted when I added the compound file custom props (like in SE). Also for a non-compound file you can add custom properties but they do not show up in the file properties - you have to read them from the file using the Structured Storage API again.
If anyone needs some help with this in the future, I have got working examples in VB.Net for most of the API.
