Nice. Sometimes we have to switch between premium and classic as well. May look at making this myself.

 

I managed to get a bit further, and have reduced the result to be just the one sentence I mentioned. I don't think this is what you meant by using regex, but it worked for me so far Smiley Tongue

 

set _output=lmutil lmstat -c %licensefile% -f "solidedgeclassic"
for /f "tokens=2 delims=()=" %%G IN ('%_output% ^|find "issued"') DO set _line=%%G
echo %_line%

_line in this case now contains the string: Total of 6 licenses issued;  Total of 5 licenses in use

 

Do you know how I can use another one of these lines to set %1 and %2 to be the 2 values?

I think this type of requests will be found nearly everywhere.

Is it something You will offer as a SE tool instead?
