coordinates of an intersectionpoint

[ Edited ]

I need to find out the coordinates (X,Y,Z) of an SolidEdgePart.intersectionpoint.

Any help is appreciated.

The point results form intersecting a plane

and an edge in part mode.

Sorry for being unclear, I'm using sdk to create an instance

of intersectionpoint, but there is no interface to determine

the coordinates.

Re: coordinates of an intersectionpoint

I have a very similar problem.  I have projected a number of points onto a surface and I need to find out the Z coordinates of the points on the surface.  The only way I can find to do it is to create a line between the original point and the projected point and then dimension the line.  This is very cumbersome for approximately 400 points and then I need to make it generic for any imported surface!  Thanking you in anticipation for any help.

Triocon,

I get the coordinates  with

IntersectionPoint..Edges(1).Item(1).StartVertex.GetPointData (Point).

db,

I get  the coordinates  with ProjectCurve.Range(x1 As Double, y1 As Double, Z1 As Double, x2 As Double, y2 As Double, Z2 As Double).
