cronometer of modelling time

Dear programmers,

I would like to log in a text file  all the operation of the user during a session, in order to study statistically for example the time spent in rotating the object , zooming, and pure modeling.

i would like to create a plug in to give out to some companies in order to gather data.

I tried with solidedgespy to get navigations commands but they seem not to be cached...

Any suggestion welcomed.. suggested language is c++

RE: cronometer of modelling time

I think the problem that you're going to run into will be that the SE API is not robust enough in that it won't tell you everything that you're wanting to know. If I'm wrong, someone tell me.

RE: cronometer of modelling time

hi jason,

thanks for the fast reply... Well i can downscale the requirements: I would like to know th eeffective modellng time compared to idle (navigaation included)

Then what i need is just pipe the commands and then add a cronometer between them or even this is impossible??

Any way out? Do solidworks api allow this?
