icons are black

Hi,

 

i have a little problem with VB.NET Addin SolidEdge Template.

Both icons are allway black....

I use XP and SolidEdge V18 Beta

 

Please can you help me - where is m problem.

Reza,

 

Good to hear from you.

 

You must use the ReleaseBuild.bat file that was provided with the template. The reason behind this is that VS.NET does not support compiling Win32 resource files which Addin.res is. The ReleaseBuild.bat uses the commandline compiler with a /Win32 switch or something like that.

 

So, during development, you will not see your icons unless you explicitly use ReleaseBuild.Bat. I must also mention that you must 1st release build from VS.NET before using ReleaseBuild.bat.

 

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
