logging user actions

[ Edited ]

Hi to all,

i'm new in programming solidedge and so i'm sorry if i'm asking something too simple. I installed the wizard for creating addins and i found example files extremely useful!

But i have to code a strange addin: i've to catch  and, initially log only, all  the actions an user could perform on a sketch or similar, such as extrusions, revolves, holes and so on. Until now I am able to catch all application, application_window, addin and fileui events thanks to Jason example. But these ones aren't so useful for me (i don't even know the corrispondance between commandid and commandname): my aim is to log all user actions with relative action parameters and attributes. For example: extrusion on sketch1, height 20 cm, direction z-axis. Is there any way to achieve this? Can you put me on the right direction?

Any help would be very appreciated!

Many thanks in advance,

Enrico

Enrico,

I'm sorry to tell you that the Solid Edge API is not that robust. If it were, we would have already written a macro recorder by now.
