.net Training

[ Edited ]

I've been programming for a few years, but have been solely on VB. Ready to start delving into VB.net and the other tools available to start switching over my SE customization and start Insight/Sharepoint customization.

What I am looking for are maybe a few good getting started books or even some training to get me up to speed in the basic how-to's of VB.net

Thanks,

Dale Smith

Dale,

I peronsally use www.wrox.com for books.

I also have This book. It really helps when it comes to COM Interop in .NET.

As far as training, any VB.NET courses that you can find locally is going to help. Just do a google search for VB.NET training and you're bound to find something.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply, Jason.

I found some on-line courses, but the way I get interrupted at work, it would be hard to take an on-line class.

Would you recommend something like this CD series.

I will look into those books you listed.

Thanks again.

Dale
