rpc unavailable after some batch operations

Valued Contributor

Hi,

SeApp Version: SE 2019

I wan't to make some batch operations (57 assemblies and their occurrences).

After some work (5-8 assemblies) I'm getting an error "RPC Unavailable".

I tried to restart Solid Edge after every 50 file operations, but there's still the same error.

Any hint will be helpful for me Smiley Happy

I'm having the same issue with 2019 even with using OLEMessageFilter. Following this to see if one of the Legends has any input.

The solution to your problem will likely be found in my OpenSave sample on GitHub. Specifically, focus on the OpenSaveTask.cs | OpenSaveTask.vb class and code that uses the class. This class inherits from the SolidEdgeCommunity.IsolatedTaskProxy class that I wrote and make available via the SolidEdge.Community NuGet package. You can use the NuGet package as-is or rip the code into your own project.

I'm always the first to admit that it's a pain to deal with and it will take some time to understand it but if you want to do batch with SE and .NET correctly, this is the only way I've found to do so. If it fixes your issue and if you'd like me to explain it in further detail, let me know.
